Laser eye companies will always have special deals to tempt you into signing up on the very day that you attend, but make sure you've carried out a price search, so that you know what a good deal is a nd what is not.

Even so, make sure you compare its prices with other companies before you commit, even with the discounts, there might be cheaper competition out there. And let's say that the company you work for isn’t signed up, then make suggestion that they join (or tell someone who can). Often times membership is free and costs are transparent.

Update: Since publishing this hub, there have been new developments in laser eye surgery. It is a method called the blade free Z lasik laser eye treatment procedure, which uses new improved lasers. As it is blade free, the new laser eye treatment is safer, faster, much more accurate than previous laser eye surgery techniques, and as usual, it is painless.
